anya krouse is a photographer and printmaker currently based in philadelphia, pa.

anya’s work is solely analog, ranging from documentary to portraiture. anya is interested in the ways photography sparks collaboration, conversation, and action. with a vested interest in preserving the art of the film, anya’s work is deliberately slow — each image made with intention and care.

having also studied feminist and queer theory at hampshire college, anya is committed to cementing photography and all forms of art as crucial contributors to radical social change. anya hopes to bring a caring and intentional approach to each and every image, reiterating the need to approach each other with care for the building of our future.

anya will continue to explore these themes in the history of art and archeology master’s program at nyu’s institute for fine arts.
